Woohoo!

I had my portfolio reviewed many many many times and finally narrowed down my schools, I got all of my college acceptance letters - I got into EVERY school I applied to!

I decided I'm goingt

1) Montclair State University, Upper Montclair, NJ:
Degree: BFA in Graphic Design
Tuition Fee: $8,000 a year

This is where I'm most likely gonna go! The university is suppose to accept you, and then you get a portfolio review for their art department. I did it the other way around, I got into the art department first because I went to Portfolio Day in NYC. I got my acceptance letter last Friday!

2) School of Visual Arts (SVA), New York, NY:
Degree: BFA in Graphic Design
Tuition Fee: $30,000 a year

I considered SVA in a different league from the other schools (not in a good or bad way, just different). I got a positive portfolio review from them at one of their regional events. I went to an open house and was on the fence about this place. Their program is amazing though and the work coming from their students is incredible. The thing is, I'd be commuting in and out of the city from Jersey every day by bus. Next week, I find out if I'm getting a scholarship from them or not.

3) Kean University, Elizabeth, NJ:
Degree: BFA in Graphic Design
Tuition Fee: not sure...i think $10,000 a year

I got my portfolio review done and was accepted as a BFA student in graphic design. Not much to say about this school, but it's graphic design program is the only one in NJ that doesn't have a basis in the fine arts before you design on the computers.
